Imagin Summer gin tonic pop-up bar

Last week we started the weekend with a fairytale evening in a fabulous spot in Brussel. It was a perfect Indian summer evening when we arrived at the Museuem Van Buuren, an art deco house built in the 1920s with an impressive garden, Alice in Wonderland style garden maze included.

Bombay Sapphire gin and Fever Tree tonic have again gone the extra mile in their search for the perfect place for their annual summer pop-up bar. They took us on a world tour with a garden map and three gin tonic bars to discover during the evening. To get the exceptional botanicals that create their unique gin taste, Bombay Sapphire travels the world. Fever Tree follows in the same globe-trotting footsteps, looking for the purest kinine worldwide. This meticulous search for ingredients is reflected in this year's edition of IMAGIN BAR.

When we arrived at the museum we were directed to the first bar where there was a choice of three Mediterranean flavoured cocktails. The equally Mediterranean charming waiter had us all enchanted from the very beginning. Gin tonic in one hand and first of the fabulous appetizers of the eveing in the other hand we made our way through the maze to the next hidden bar spot in the garden.

The African bar didn't only serve Moroccon flavoured gin tonics but was beautifully styled with lamps I would love to hang in my garden too! The mystifying blue light from teh Asian bar drew us to the hidden corner of the garden for our last gin tonic stop.

If you are free one of the following Thursdays in September and love a very good gin tonic, don't hesitate: book your spot on the IMAGIN website!

IMAGIN is open 3-10-17-24 september, from 17h00 till 23h00. Entrance costs 30 euros (three gin tonics included.
